ITINERARY

DAY 1: LIMA
Transfer to your hotel in vibrant Lima.

DAY 2: LIMA
Pachacamac visit and Lima city tour, Declared in 1991 by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the historic center of Lima can be, beyond the titles, a very stimulating place. Lima is also a city of lavish museums that keep the gold and silver of the fascinating pre-Hispanic cultures.


DAY 3: LIMA / AREQUIPA
Flight to Arequipa and city tour, Arequipa is a World Heritage Site according to Unesco. Known as the city of white stone, it offers snowy destinations such as the Ampato, Chachani and Misti peaks, along with deep canyons. Among them, Cotahuasi and Colca, whose beauty and impact are impressive.



DAY 4: AREQUIPA / COLCA
Transfer to Colca and Colca Canyon tour, The Colca Canyon is the canyon that divides the valley of the same name that is located in the province of Caylloma in Arequipa. This canyon is considered the second deepest in the world. The constant presence and evidence of Spanish churches, built after the Conquest, in the valley, indicate that the Colca, would have been an important Pre-Hispanic ceremonial center, since colonial temples used to be built, at the beginning of the new world, in places where the Christianity, was intended to root out idolatries. The Colca Canyon, and with it, the valley of the same name, are not only testimony of previous occupation, and therefore of abundant presence of archaeological remains, but it is also a beautiful natural setting, which is populated with attractions, such as the Rio Colca, and thermomedicinal sources.



DAY 5: COLCA
Free day in Colca.

DAY 6: COLCA / PUNO
Colca Canyon and transfer to Puno

DAY 7: PUNO
Titicaca Lake tour. Lake Titicaca is located 158 kilometers from the city of La Paz, at 3,841 meters above sea level. It is also called the "Sacred Lake" due to the great importance it had for ancient cultures such as Tiwanaku and the Inca.

DAY 8: PUNO / CUSCO
Transfer to Cusco with Raqchi and Andahuaylillas. Raqchi is one of the archaeological sites that is growing in popularity the most in Cusco. Due to the Inca constructions that are there, this citadel was as important as Machu Picchu. 

DAY 9: CUSCO
Morning at leisure, Cusco city tour, and Inca ruins. Sacred imperial city and mystical navel of the world for being the political and territorial center of the Inca Empire, considered the capital of the Inca Empire with a great historical and architectural legacy.
Cusco is surrounded by beautiful green valleys with geographic variety from natural mountain ranges and reliefs with imposing tourist attractions, culture, tradition and still latent faith. The city of Cusco, located in the Andes mountain range at 3 399 m.a.s.l., was declared the Historical Capital of Peru, being an impressive sample of high Inca engineering that had stone as its main tool.



DAY 10: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY
Sacred Valley of the Incas tour. The area comprised mainly between the towns of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, northwest of Cusco, has been called "The Sacred Valley of the Incas", irrigated by the Vilcanota river that later changes its name and is called Urubamba. From pre-Hispanic times it became the appropriate place for the foundation of the towns, being the Incas who took better advantage of the beauty and goodness of this land by establishing themselves along both banks of the river, building urban centers, palaces, fortresses, temples in stone. , religious centers, sanctuaries and places of ritual significance typical of Andean mysticism.

DAY 11: SACRED VALLEY / MACHU PICCHU
Transfer to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu tour. Machu Picchu is one of the 7 wonders of the world most visited by tourists, it has beautiful stone-based constructions, which were carved with great precision and detail, it is the most important work for the Incas for having been built in a wild mountain and inaccessible, divided into two large sectors, urban and agricultural, separated by a great wall that descends the slope of the hill until it reaches the banks of the Vilcanota river.



DAY 12: MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Free morning in Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

DAY 13: CUSCO / LIMA
Last views of Cusco during you transfer to the airport of Cusco for your flight to Lima and connecting flight home
