Galapagos is perhaps the most fascinating zoological, botanical and geological wonder in the world. The oldest animals of the Universe are here like the giant tortoises that live more than 100 years, other reptiles of prehistoric appearance like the land and the marine iguanas. Penguins and sea lions can be seen swimming in the blue sea. Most of the birds of the archipelago are endemic, such as blue-footed and masked boobies, Galapagos hawks, pelicans, Darwin's finches. The cleaned flamingos that have made the islands a special habitat, the frigates and the cormorants, are some of the wonders of the animals of this natural laboratory. In addition to an impressive endemic flora and unique in the world, make this place a true paradise, declared by UNESCO a Natural World Heritage Site.

The Galapagos Islands are a destination most consider the trip of a lifetime. Made famous by Charles Darwin and his theories of evolution, the 19 different islands are a living sanctuary of various land and marine species. The Archipelago is located in the middle of three ocean currents, creating a fusion of great diversity in the species found. One cannot forget how the Islands were formed by volcanic activity that continues to this day, which also plays a large role in how the animal and plant species have adapted in order to continue to evolve.
